Introduction My topic is about the proper way to make a Toasted Ham and Cheese sandwich. In this video, I go through the elaborate and keen steps to make the most delicious ham and cheese sandwich in history. The video also includes some funny bloopers at the end displaying my awkward and cringe scene setup. Editing Editing with Premiere was actually a lot of fun this semester because it allows you to find your creative freedom through small, yet precise edits and making something hilarious in a short time period. It was a long journey to create the video script and 'import' it to my design in Premiere with some extra pizzazz. From before, I started to use more video transitions to make certain segments smoother or to switch the pace from one part to the next, including cross dissolves and pitch to white (Chelius, 2014). Introduction My topic is about the proper way to make a Toasted Ham and Cheese sandwich. In this video, I mention only the finest ingredients and the order to which you make the best ham and cheese sandwich in the world. Editing During this whole semester, I've had another class that I've been using Premiere Pro for. I've gotten ahead of track with importing files, making sequences and bins, and even color correction. The new additions for me to work with were captions and effects, which were a lot more engaging for me to edit. I utilized how to import captions with the templates in Premiere. From there, I used the type tool to change the text and fonts (Jago, 2017). Additionally, I applied position and scaling effects from the effects tab into the sequence (Jago, 2019).

Introduction My topic is on the involvement of social media and video games in modern school curriculums. Are they interactive and insightful to the lesson being taught or are they an instrument to distraction? Should they be more involved in schools today or kept out of sight and out of mind? I asked individuals what their opinions were for these questions and their responses piqued my interest. Rough Draft

Introduction My topic is on the involvement of social media and video games in modern school curriculums. Are they interactive and insightful to the lesson being taught or are they an instrument to distraction? Should they be more involved in schools today or kept out of sight and out of mind? Editing For this segment of the rough draft, I focused on volume balance between clips (Heagney, 2022), adding some effects to clips for clarity (Sengstack, 2013), and making small razor cuts to keep the content flowing without unnecessary disruptions (Russell, 2013). I used the volume bar to adjust various segments of the same recording to fit it between a reasonably strong decibel range. I also used some effects to enhance the vocals in the tracks to make them be more distinguished. Expert Interview

Introduction My expert is Jordan Beck, a student at High Point University majoring in Business Finance and being involved in the Esports Club. Beck is part of the Operations team, which handles with social and technical aspects of the club. Editing For this cut of the expert interview, I primarily used the razor tool and move tool to fit the edit smoothly. The razor tool was used to trim out extra blank spaces or unused content and the move tool was used to put the clips back together in a short timeframe (Russell, 2013). Radio Lab Arc So far, I believe that I caught onto the editing software very fast but I'm still slowly going my way through to gain a better understanding of what I should be looking for in content and recordings. My first interviews were a bit short and to the point, not much explaining to do but still got some interesting answers. "Do you think social media or video games are/should be involved in the school curriculum?" With the rapid growth of technology and its usage in this era, how is it/can it be applied into our schools? Is it a positive experience for students or a detriment to their education? Some experts on this topic may include Education, Sociology, or Psychology professors to better see the correlation between its application to education and student's reactions/interactivity. Sounds Some natural sounds would be a passing hallway, or a partially quiet outdoor area. Other sounds could be small chatter in the background, or a professor giving a lecture in the class.
